Following the company values we try to develop our hard and soft skills as well as help others to grow.
We care about what we do. When something needs to be done we step in and take action without waiting for someone else to initiate the change. It is about taking the initiative to create positive results. As individuals, we are accountable for the quality and timeliness of an outcome, even when we’re working with others. Each of us should be responsible for the task, team, project, and company. Taking ownership shows others that they can trust us to do the right thing.
Engineering is about finding optimal solutions for real problems. It’s about looking at the simplest way to solve ever-changing challenges. We don’t blindly follow schematics the schemes. If something works we do it, when it doesn’t – we don’t. Pragmatism is about measuring and then acting quickly fast based on this data. We validate ideas and we aren’t afraid to say something didn’t work. We don’t look for ideal things, because those don't exist - but we strive to find the best solution from a time and quality perspective. Anyone at AppUnite can and should email or talk to anyone else according to what they think is the fastest way to solve a problem for the benefit of the whole company.
We believe that the people we work with have good intentions. But as individuals, we need to prove that one is a person of trust. We need to be open to discussion, share our argumentation when we take action and be a person that admits when we are wrong. We believe that when one makes a decision, they try to make the best decision at that moment. We believe in constructive feedback and that there is always a right time to share it. Trust allows us to build long-lasting relationships with our employees and partners.
Make the first step for a great partnership! Share your idea with us and check what we can do for you and your company.
Curiosity means to never stop learning. We are excited to get to know and try new things. When a team is curious, they are proactive and not reactive. We are expected to test new things. Even if it leads to making a bad call. After all, a bad decision is better than no decision. We aren’t afraid of being wrong. We are curious if we are right. We use our curiosity to build a deep understanding of how things really work. And we believe that it can make a huge difference.
Helping others is a priority, even when it is not immediately related to the goals that we are trying to achieve. We are collaborative and face problems as a team. We work together for the common good and we support each other. We rely on other team members and we aren’t afraid of asking for help. We care about inclusion. We respect others. Their opinions and beliefs. No matter the background, religion, gender or race of the person we work with.
We constantly listen to customers (internal and external), and then continuously test, enhance, and personalize the customer experience. Seeing the bigger picture and caring about the final product, even if we need to make a trade-off, always having long term satisfaction in mind. This also includes an employee focus and thinking about what we can do for the AppUniters.
