Our client, a technology company with ambitious goals for an experimental project, was seeking an efficient way to launch it without disrupting their existing operations. It was initially a trial project, not yet fully integrated into their core business activities, allowing the client to assess its feasibility before committing extensive resources.
The client faced a range of challenges: recruiting experienced developers was a slow process, and internal resources were already heavily engaged in other projects. This staffing gap delayed project’s progress, making it difficult to validate the project’s potential quickly. Additionally, taking it on internally carried risks, and the client wanted to avoid potential fallout affecting their core teams.
To address these issues, we partnered with the client to build an external development team skilled in Elixir, handling the core development work while the client supplied internal team leaders (TLs) and product owners (POs) to guide the project. This setup allowed the client to avoid diverting their internal resources and focus on other priorities. By establishing a team structure where our external team took on the primary risk, we provided a safeguard, allowing the client to proceed with project confidently.
The collaboration accelerated the project without straining the client’s internal teams or delaying other strategic initiatives. By transferring development responsibility to our team, we helped mitigate potential risks and provided the client with the flexibility needed to explore new project as a viable product. This partnership transformed what began as an experimental initiative into a streamlined, scalable project with minimal disruption to the client's core operations.
